R-454B is the low-GWP, A2L refrigerant that the major equipment makers chose to replace R-410A in new residential and light-commercial air conditioners and heat pumps. It carries roughly 78% lower GWP than R-410A with very similar capacity and efficiency, which is why it's the gas going into most 2025-and-newer systems.
